RyanB06
Atlanta must have really ticked off the basketball gods to have a 25% shot of landing #1 and not get it...Of course, I also remember the year the Celtics got hosed out of the #1 pick the year Duncan came out... DEAD! But 25% shot at getting it also means a 75% chance of not getting it. I would even bet on Atlanta not having it.
Audiodrama
I believe Milwaukee had somethin like a 6.25% chance of gettin the pick. Take that, Atlanta's hopes!
buzzcut
Well, so much for the "Let's fix it so the Lakers and Knicks get the #1 and #2 picks" conspiracy theory. At least the "Let's screw the Hawks again and again and again..." conspiracy theory is blatantly upheld. Phil
...and the Raptors get the seventh pick, and given their luck/drafting skill, will have to be extraordinarily lucky to land a real impact player.
PhilaLogos
wow, that was unexpected. I feel bad for the Hornets, they are like the Bucks minus Redd and they got #4. Ouch.

the_cynic
That is messed up. The Bucks finished with a better record than the Jazz and they got the #1 pick while the Jazz get the #6. I'm really starting to hate the lottery.
See Red
So Andrew Bogut will be playin in my beloved Wisconsin Gotta love that I think they'll pick Marvin Williams. That'd certainly be the smart pick, in my opinion.

That'd certainly be the smart pick, in my opinion. Marvin Williams as the #1?? Williams in top 10, sure, but I don't think he's a legit #1. Especially when there's Bogut and May. Then again, it is the NBA, where upside rules the draft (cough, Kwame Brown, cough).

FiddySicks
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/3638114The Hawks even lose the DRAFT LOTTERY Well you know who ever the first round pic next year is, they are still gonna say to themselves; "Damn, now im stuck playing for the bucks. plop. At least if i played for the Clippers or the Hawks the weather would be sorta nice come mid December."
Cujo
This is a pretty weak draft (as are most now days) so it's not like the Bucks will get a true fanchise player with the #1 pick.

There's questions about whether Bogut is athletic enough to be a great player in the NBA and Sean May will be undersized. A lot of scouts feel that Marvin Williams was the best player on that UNC team last year.I've never seen May crack the Top 10 in a mock draft, and I'm not sure I've never seen Williams outside of the top 3.The draft is a pretty deep draft, a lot of solid players, -- guys like Garcia and Simien will be going late in the first round -- however, as Dirty Curty noted, there aren't any franchise players. May wouldn't be undersized if you put him at a 4. I know you've read the experts' opinions, ITE, but I thought there were two or three players better than Marvin on UNC last year. Marvin is good, but I didn't see him as better than May, McCants, or Felton - Marvin still has A LOT to learn. Certainly not better than Simien or Bogut, IMO.
