Still looked bad.

On a side note, Byung Hyun Kim started for them. How is this guy in the majors?

They've worn the black on black a couple of times, actually. It was how they originally wore them against the Giants -- and then the next day, they did the black on purple.

I like the black on black, it's different and makes you look twice at them. I hate the black on purple. This season my high school baseball team played three black and purple teams, all three of them wore a black or purple vest on top of a black or purple shirt. My point is is that the vest on top of a purple shirt is a cheesy high school look. The black on black is cool.

I think it would be a comfort / mobility thing. I have no problem w/ black on black, except for the white trim around the sleeve openings.

Yes.

Colored jerseys are fine.......for batting practice. They look ridiculous during the game.

I thought this board was about creativity! Greys vs. Whites? Oh yeah, talk about unatractive. When people are channel surfing and flip through ESPN, not seing a colored jersey will not catch the viewer's eye.

Besides, I like all sorts of ideas for uniforms (except for the Rangers all-blue, they suck. Stick with the vests guys)

I like the black with purple sleeves better than black-black. It's unique, and I think the Rockies can try this sort of thing. They are not the Yankees or Cardinals, history-wise. I don't mind a newer team taking a risk, but it seems like they backed off and are playing it safe because of negative feedback... only wearing black-black now. I say if you're gonna do it, go all out and bring back the black-purple *they only wore that once, right?)
