Gary
Hey all, I need your help with a name for my baseball team. At first I was the Phoenix Cactus Wrens, than I was the Glendale Demons. But now I want to separate myself from the Demons and make them only for the World Arena Football League. Any ideas please post them thank you

brennus
Snowbirds? What is the mascot, an old woman? (BTW Most old people live in Sun City)
BallWonk
If it's not too late, how about swiping a line from Robert Earl Keen's tribute to Arizona with the Glendale Furnace Fans. "It's hotter than a furnace fan out in Arizona / 110 ain't nothing when you live out there you see."Otherwise, Snowbirds is fine, but you really do have to make an elderly Minnesotan your mascot. Named Rudy or Carl or Margie.
Gary
The Glendale Snowbirds. I chose the Glendale Vipers. Plus when I asked for suggestions, I didn't need the answers like Snowbirds or Furnacefans! Seriously we are more than heat and Sun City(and btw all old people live in Sun City because their is a 60 year old restriction to live there). winghaz
brennus, my folks were snowbirds in Glendale back in the early 1980s, so it was only natural for me to suggest that.
Grish
Mirage, Heat, or Yellow Hammers (curveball nickname) "Try not to have a good time ... This is supposed to be educational."- Charles Schulz
