I liked the USFL's Arizona Wranglers 1984 uniforms. The first year uniforms were nothing great, Year Two was a different story.

1. Metalic Copper helmets and pants (a color no team has used before or since) Replecas has the helmet look more gold than copper.

2. San Diego Charger-esque flames running down the pant legs

3. A nice complement of red and blue as secondary colors

4. The Arizona state flag as a secondary logo

5. The red "home" jersey that was never worn (as they wore their white jersey every game)

We all have our little faults. Mine's in California.

Because a .gif file just doesn't do the '84 Wranglers justice:

USFL game used jerseys

Man, the USFL had some beautiful threads. Other personal faves:

'84 Chicago Blitz

(Insert City Here) Breakers

Michigan Panthers

Jacksonville Bulls

And the original 10 teams of the WLAF also looked fantastic, though Ohio outdid Raleigh-Durham by far. Major props to the designer who made brown and gold look good in San Antonio. And of course, Everyone Loves The Orlando Thunder.

This was up for bids on eBay earlier this week. I just couldn't bring myself to go over $200 for it. Now, for those of you out there who can sport a Medium, there's a Scott Mitchell replica up for bids...

Here's the goods.

For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.
