officeglenn
This is also a major blow to my fantasy team's chances. I kept him through his first stint on the DL, but I can't afford to do the same again, esp. if it's for the rest of the season. I just hope Brezoban is still available ... and Vidro comes back soon ... and I can get Barmes back when he returns in 3-4 months.
randyc
NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! same as you Glenn, it will hurt my fantasy team also. Man this is a huge blow for the Dodgers.

See Red
Its a back breaker for the Dodgers that division is now the Padres for the taking. Unless the injury of Eric Gagne somehow cripples the D-Backs chances (who are ahead of the Dodgers, to begin with), I wouldn't hand the Padres the division just yet. amare32
I cant see teh DBacks going from 111 losses to division title they will tail off. I'm not fan of Russ Ortiz. And the bullpen needs serious work. But I don't think last season's record is relevant at all. This is a completely rebuilt team. The Diamondbacks have as good a shot as anyone in the division. Last season was last season, yes our bullpen is a big problem as well as Ortiz, but our rotation is pretty solid. Our offense is great, and we have good defense. I think we can squeak out of this division. So don't give it to the Padres, they have been struggling as well.

Pat
Our offense is great, and we some good offense. lilq haha just playing I know what you meant.I think this doesn't count out the Dodgers. Realistically any of the 4 teams could win the divison, but I still think its the Padres to lose. Proud owner of the Utah Pioneers of the Continnental Baseball League.PACKER BACKER FOREVER!
