Brian in Boston
Nothing short of a GIANT in the world of entertainment. His overwhelming success in a variety of mediums - live stage performance, radio, film and television - was extraordinary. He'll be sorely missed. One of my favorite recollections from childhood involves watching Hope/Crosby "Road" pictures with my grandfather. Thanks for the memories, Bob.Brian in Boston

Brick
He also had an oral agreement to buy the Senators until that &$%# Bob Short stepped in. If Hope had bought the team they'd still be in Washington...and they'd still be in last place.
