HatCityEnforcer Posted July 15, 2005 Share Posted July 15, 2005 Yah, I'm back at it again This was something I completed a few days ago, but haven't posted for public viewing...that is until now..I went in a more traditional route with these and made a few changes...--Eliminated the ghastly and un-neccesary silver trim on the home and road wordmarks--Ditched the pointless sleeveless and blue alts (sorry, but once they changed things around, esp. on the blue alt, they lost me)--Burned that horrible (and yes I mean horrible) "I" hat.--Decided to bring back an old-school hat and re-instated pinstripes on the home jersey (which they had in the late 50s and again in the early 70s)...--Made navy the primary color and changed the wordmarks around to reflect that...Anyways, here's what I came up with...C&C always appreciated and encouraged FANTASY TEAMSHousatonic U. Dragons (NCFA Basketball): 16-6 (8-4 Conf.)--National Runner-UpJersey State U. Yah, I can understand that....It's just a hat logo the team used in the glory days of the 50s...I guess the Tribe put Chief Wahoo in the middle of the C to differentiate it from the Reds (seeing both teams used navy blue hats at the time...talk about confusing )....Personally, I always thought this one was a bit classier than just the C or Wahoo by himself on the hat...but that's just me... McCall Posted July 15, 2005 Share Posted July 15, 2005 I used to have that hat, the all blue one(your road hat.) It said 1957 on the inside for the year. I frickin LOVED that hat when I was a kid. When I think Indians, I think red scripts, blue hats, but I appreciate the effort and hard work put in this.
