D-League: Fort Worth Flyers

nice font, they liked the 66ers so much, they decided to use it too

actually the whole d-league uses the same font for their wordmarks, just like the NBDL had the techno font for all teams.

Wrong

Check out Arkansas. They kept their ABA wordmark but changed the logo.

As AAO mentioned, the D-League teams are - for the most part - using a new unified font for each teams's wordmark. Here are the original three's new, modified logos:

Fayetteville Patriots:

Florida Flame:

Roanoke Dazzle:

And, Dilbert is correct - Arkansas somehow managed to be exempt from this rule.

Arkansas was an oddity (a successful ABA team) so they are trying to stick with that. I don't know why the D-League (NBDL) is trying to be so boring!

The Flyers! How original

Remember the first year or so everyone had the same league logo.

I imagine the Rimrockers will eventually come in line too!

Sorry to be so late on this...

From the looks of most of these logos, it appears as though the players aren't the only section of the D-League that's not ready for the big time! What are boring font choice. The names all lend themselves to interesting and unique wordmarks...what a waste.

Btw this is old hat for Notre Dame. Knits Rockne made up George Tip's death bed speech.

I'm now curious about what Albuquerque's team will be named. I've been trying on a bit of a hunting expedition by typing in URLs with potential albuquerque names to see if it brings me to the NBDL site. No luck so far.

Quoting yourself is weird.

Anyway, the word here is Albuquerque's team gets its name and logo Thursday. Just an FYI.
