That's a good one, Vini! Good job. No, really, you should be proud of yourself. You know what I'd do if I were you? I'd print out this page, put it in a nice frame, and hang it on the wall of your bedroom right next to your Junior High School Equivalency certificate. Then, the next time your mom comes in and complains that you haven't done anything with your life, you can point to it and say, "You're wrong, Mom. See? This one time, I said something clever on an internet message board!" Then, she'll realize what a winner you are and you'll have her respect again. Maybe she'll even let you have friends over, and so you'll get to go find some new friends to invite over. Your mom can make cookies and lemonade, and you and your new friends can play hide-and-seek; maybe your mom will even let you watch a PG-13 movie. But be careful; if you're new friends are older men and they ask you to let them touch your special place, don't let them. That's YOUR special place, and nobody else's. You tell them that, and then they'll respect you too. I see big things in the future for you, Vini. So keep your head up, and be the best darned Vini you can be!Way to go! OMMF
Before all the fans get into a tizzy about these, check out the note from jerseycity.ca about ordering the replica jerseys:The replica version of the jersey resembles the authentic jerseys but fits like a traditional jersey. So while you may not like it on them, at least it will fit the fans like the old ones. ebod39
so if all the NHL'ers did not like them, who did Nike "wind test" these on?This is a a big egg in the face for the Nike innocvative design team. I myself am chucklingbecause I have a feeling they rushed this out of the lab just to beat RBK to the punch. Also, when you read the comments from the press conference, it sounds likethe Nike spokesman is just spouting off figures to try and justify this whole thing. Bouj
I haven't been keeping up with the new hockey jersey story as much as I should have, but it would seem to me that the players don't like that the jerseys aren't baggy anymore. Maybe they won't come out and say as much though. Personally, I like my jeans to be kind of baggy, and I know I'd complain if I had to wear tighter pants.I think it is only a failed experiment in the eyes of the players. I bet the NHL and the international governing bodies like them. It will reduce clutching and grabbing. You can't grab someone if there is nowhere to grab. And I like them. I might get one in a couple of years. Go Astros!Go Texans!Go Rockets!Go Javelinas!

I've always thought they looked decent enough, and have never known why they were considered a failed experiment. I think it was why. Or it least it says that on nhluniforms.com. For the 1981-82 season, the Philadelphia Flyers introduced the decade's most radical idea -- long pants, as modeled here by Brian Propp. The idea behind the new pants, manufactured by Cooper under the name Cooperall, was to create a faster, lighter uniform, with lighter padding underneath. The pants did make the skaters faster; unfortunately, they were also faster whenever they took a spill and would crash very hard into the boards. The Hartford Whalers joined the Flyers in wearing long pants the following season. At the end of the 1982-83 season, the NHL outlawed the long pants, causing both the Flyers and the Whalers to revert back to the old faithful, time-tested short pants. I don't think anyone wants 80's baseball style tight, while noone wants really baggy either. In the end I think it will come down to each players personal preference

NickNickNick
Personally, I like the design...it's something different. However, Team Canada is not the team to be fooling around with. Canada should stick with a more traditional design, IMO. Spoiler Β New York Rangers. Stanley Cup Champions - 1928, 1933, 1940, 1994. Saskatchewan. Cold. 1905-2022.
