conesbeans
I don't know how you guys do it -- that is, I don't know how you find out about all of these logo unveilings, but I'm sure glad you do!This is the first time I have been able to chime in with this type of thing. Here's a new collegiate logo unveiling that I saw today:http://www.norwich.edu/athletics/index.html(I don't know how you guys post images, so I just posted the link to the story I saw on line.) RamblinGamblinTiger
I dig the logo, but WTF is up with the 'r' in Norwich?
Phil
"If you're between the ages of fifty and seventy-five, Norwich University will insure you for life, with no medical exam or health questions."Sorry. Had to. Don't know if the yanks will get it, but I bet a few of us Canadians remember that guy.
Gordie
I dig the logo, but WTF is up with the 'r' in Norwich?Might overlap the 'w' to reduce the relatively large amount of black space that would normally have been between the two letters, making the kerning look off. rtrich11
I like it. I've seen a lot of "horsemen" logos fall short, but this one works well. I'm not super-nuts about the r and w connection, either, but knowing Joe's work, I'm sure they tried a bunch of things and this was what worked best. There's nothing wrong with it if you really look at it.
Blackjack76
Not to be picky....The shield in the crossed swords logo is the only one with the shield's shadow in tan, and not all blue. None of the other designs has this.Don't know if that's intentional.
Sterling84
Instantly recognizeable as Bosack and of course, of high quality.Looks to me like the horse head doesn't have enough room and he is pulling back or scrunching his nose to fit between the letters. Thats my only complaint.
Korkie
I like the design, but I think the logo itself is a little dark.
cward
Great stuff, Joe, ablsolutely solid package. The logos fit the nickname and institution's tradition perfectly.
KeeperEUSC
Oh no, I'll have to go see them in action at a Norwich game.
