iccomics
what they currently have is cool, sacremento and tacoma have been fairly even the last few years, and both have won a title or two recently, tacoma 2001, sactown 2004, and they've been the rainiers for about a decade, but what i heard is tacoma has had the longest running non stop minor league franchise, since 1960, theyve been known as the tugs, twins, cubs, tigers, yankees, giants, and rainiers. How long theyve been the Rainiers i dont know. Sac has had a team for a long time also. They had the Solons from as long ago as the 1930s and many PCL teams along the way to getting the Rivercats in 2000. I dinnt know Tacoma won the title in 2001, they have a better shot than most this year but i dont think anyones going to stop the Sac Town machine on their quest for 3 straight. Hopefully the signs at Raley field will soon read Sacramento Rivercats PCL Champs 2003 2004 2005
