New Orleans Saints to ?

On Monday, Sept. 19, Giants/Saints will start at 7:30pm on ABC.

At 9:00pm, ABC will switch to Redskins/Cowboys, except in New York and on the Gulf Coast. Giants/Saints will move to ESPN. (In NY and the Gulf Coast, Redskins/Cowboys will be on ESPN until the end of the first game.)

It doesn't say which broadcast crew will handle which game.

The early rumor was that the ESPN crew (Mike Patrick, Joe Theismann, & Paul McGuire) would handle the Giants/Saints while Al & Madden would be in Dallas...

Of course, that's totally subject to change.

ESPN.com is now reporting that the Saints may have played their lasst game in New Orleans. The plan is to play in San Antonio next year and possibly move to Los Angeles permanently. Here's the article.

I know that here in SF, we would LOVE to have a real NFL team.

It might be sad it might be unfortunate but they should leave New Orleans, that city is going to take decades to rebuild to what it was, and wont be big enough population wise to reall sustain a major professional franchise.
