How nice for you...Here's my $0.02-the logo looks static, and thus boring-for a team called the Islanders it's too sharp edged (which also clashes with the wavy stripes...-I'd make the sleeve stripes consistent (you have 2 on one, & 3 on the other...)On the plus side--no fisherman...You basically kept the colours--although the blue is a bit close to purple... goforbroke Posted September 4, 2005 Share Posted September 4, 2005 the template is terrible!!! whats the silver supposed to be-- is that an outline around the white jersey or some kind up lining up the side?the stripes and waves dont look good together at all. get some unity going. its all an eyesore.does the bottom of the logo end in the curves of the wave or is it squared off?? you can't tell with this template at all. for a "graphic designer" you'd think you'd be more meticulous in your logo design... but why on the white jersey is the "N" and 1/2 of the "Y" navy -- while the hockey stick is black? be more careful it looks like crap that way.also the waves on the bottom of the blue jersey don't line up to the edge of the template? what are u doing here it looks thrown together in five minutes.the logo itself is ok. the blue part of the logo on bottom doesn't look great on the blue jersey though. it kindof looks like an empty black circle there.also why doesn't the circle connect on the right side of the logo between the forks of the haptons?ALSO on a side note has anyone ever noticed that on the real islanders logo the tip of the "I" points right to where Nassau Coloseum is? i checked a bunch of maps and thats it... the map does not have brooklyn or queens on it so nassau coloseum is right there toward the west side of the logo.
