I think he's talking about the Wilson "GST" balls that were introduced a couple of seasons ago.

Among the differences were tackified synthetic laces and "grip stripes". Wilson has since incorporated the same features into the more traditional 1001 and 1005 college footballs.

I want the NFL to use the spiral Nerf footballs that whistled when you threw them.

Dude those things are awesome!!! They make everyone look like they have the arm of Mike Vick in that old Powerade commercial. Could you even inagine Brett Farve or Peyton Manning tossing one of those things downfield? I can see it now. Quarterbacks making 107 yard pass completions :blink:

did anyone else have the brain ball. The football that was brain shaped, orange, and came in this cylinder thing looked like a test tube or something. That was my neighborhoods favorite ball to play with.
