Youppi doesnt look to happy about being with the Canadiens

He should sue MLB. After all, his face froze after having one expression all those years.

Well he is scared becuase he still does not know how to skate.

Then again, if Youppi! is doing the same schtick he did with the Expos with the Canadiens, isn't he just going to be hamming it up with the folks in the stands?

And if that's the case, what's it matter if he knows how to skate or not?

This is a good signing for the Canadiens.

They've been lacking in depth at the Mascot position for years, especially after Guy Lafleur left (God Bless You, Guy).

That being said, he's up against some tough competition in the Northeast Division.

Spartacat (OTT) will likely be a little riled that his shaggy mane has some competition in the orange-fuzz department, Blades (BOS) has been known to EAT things that look similar to Youppi, Sabretooth (BUF) will likely snap a few left-handed slapshots at Youppi to give the rookie a few indents...

And let's not forget about the most obvious rival: Carlton the Bear (TOR). That maple-leaf maniac is not above bodychecking opposing rivals into the benches, despite his cuddly appearance.

And since Ace of the Toronto Blue Jays won't be doing anything come October 5th...this could result in a nasty 2-on-1 situation.
