andrewharrington
By popular demand/executive decision, the traditional yellow pants have returned to the home set. I debated it while I was making it, and those who commented on the lack of yellow in the home pants have convinced me. It also differentiates it from the Kent State uniforms I made. They were too similar before, in my opinion. andrewharrington
I'll go with the darker Toledo Blue and repost it. They use both PMS 280 and PMS 282, but the uniforms look like PMS 282. (The banner on the home page is in PMS 280, the logo is in PMS 282. Strange use of two dark blues.) Brauny1280
how about a helmet stripe of some sort or the afformentioned yellow face masks? I think it needs a little yellow IMO.
andrewharrington
The darker blue is in place. I love the seamless look of a one-color helmet, and stripes can often clutter an otherwise beautiful helmet, so that's why. gordie_delini
i like the darker blue and the yellow pants - this is really sharp! could i make a request if at all possible? i'm a student at the University of Oregon, and i'd really be interested to see what you would do for a UO design. please keep the the colors and the logos, but the rest would be up to you - that would be awesome. but if you dont feel like it, no worries
HurricaneDavid
The helmet is a big improvement. The number font is also a big improvement. As for the blue/yellow set, I think it looks too much like West Virginia. Rather see white pants with the blue jerseys.I'm going to visit relatives in Toledo over Veterans Day weekend. Disappointed that there isn't a game at the Glass Bowl then.

I think it looks much better with no stripe
dgnmrwrw
These are great. Very nice update. Just a thought that I'd like to see tried: What about having the pants stripe coming up from the socks (like a rocket leaving the ground) instead of coming down from the waist? If the "Rocket Exhaust" originated from the ground and tapered upward, the "Rocket" would be flying down, into the ground. VitaminD
Beautiful work, my man.Major upgrade from the current set.I'm glad I am not the only who noticed that the "4" looks a little off. The Phillies do the same thing with their "4"s, and it throw off an otherwise awesome number set. Putting the small serif bar on the right side of the long vertical would remedy this.As for helmet stripes, I am not a proponent of tapered stripes on helmets (a la Denver Broncos), but a single tapered gold stripe down the middle, tapering as it went, would look pretty cool. No stripes works just fine if you disagree. "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.
andrewharrington
HA! Funny story here. When I was creating this, I originally had drop shadows on the numbers like the current uniforms, and the number 40 wouldn't fit on the front of the jersey, so I chopped the serif off the right side. I forgot to put it back on. I'm gonna go do that, because that 4 looks ridiculous. There, it's back to normal and looks much better.
