I am a Yankees fan, and my ideal match-up has the Clemens and Pettitte returning to the Bronx, where they both experienced playoff glory, only they will now be on the other end of things...

By now the LDS...

NLDS:

St. Louis over San Diego (4 games)

Atlanta over Houston (5 games)

Padres winning over Cards? Ha!

Atlanta once will pass the NLDS.

ALDS:

Boston over Chicago (4 games)

Angels over Yankees (5 games)

Why those ALDS predicts?

Boston had better results against the ChiSox this year. The Yankees should travel all the country, that will impact his play; the Halos had clinched the division 5 days ago... so they are relaxed and determined to not repeat the bad start of their 2004 ALDS.

Read the Ryne Sandberg's series picks...

Red Sox-White Sox

Yanks-Angels

Padres-Cardinals

Astros-Braves

What the heck is he on?

And, I love how he says that the Yanks have more experience... yeah, a team that hasn't won a series in 5 years has SO much more experience. Give me a break.

They've also made the playoffs each of the last 11 seasons.

Three name changes ago for the Angels :)

NLDS:

Cardinals over Padres in 4

After the Padres win Game 1 on the back of good pitching by Jake Peavy, the media will begin to call the Cardinals the chokers of all time. Until the Cardinals win the next 3.

Astros over Braves in 5

The Braves lose for the umpteenth time in the playoffs.

ALDS:

Angels over Yankees in 5

Despite FOX, ESPN and various people in MLB itself attempting to rig the series in order to get another Ratings blockbuster Yanks-Sox ALCS, the Rally Monkey prevails.

Red Sox over White Sox in 5

"The Curse of the 8" enters the national lexicon.

NLCS:

Cardinals over Astros in 7

David Eckstein hits series-winning home run, causing Joe Buck to imitate his father by telling people to "Go crazy folks! Go crazy!". The next day, PTI and Around the Horn open with the question on whether he may be biased towards the Cardinals.

ALCS:

Angels over Red Sox in 6

Vlad Guerrero is MVP.

WORLD SERIES:

Angels over Cardinals in 7

"The Curse of The Man-Eating Tarp" enters the National Lexicon.

Braves over Astros in five

Yankees over Angels in four

White Sox over Red Sox in four

Cardinals over Braves in six (Edmonds wins game six with a HR in the ninth)

mostly everyone has picked the Angels over the yankees. Any1 want to change their mind after the first game with RJ, going on the hill in game 3.

Keep this tiny little fact in mind...

The Yanks won game 1 vs. the Angels in 2002 as well...and we know what happened from there (something about Thunderstix, Rally Monkeys, and the Yanks going home in 4  )

I've seen RJ twice this season and I was less than impressed each time I saw him...

Johnson's stats while I was there:

2 GS, 0-1, 12.71 ERA, 5.2 IP, 8 ER, 12 H, 3 BB, 5 K

He would've been 0-2 but the Yanks scored 11 runs during his second start <_<
