HatCityEnforcer
Congrats to Junior Griffey for turning his career around and also to The Giambino for overcoming all the negative press comments and the alleged steriods. Giambi did not test positive like Palmerio so, there's no positive proof that he's a juicer. It's a nice story, but you conveniently forgot that little matter of that grand jury transcript...yah, kinda hard to refute THAT, ya know. FANTASY TEAMSHousatonic U. Jigga
I think it's pretty clear to see how Giambi won the award...Yankees fans. They don't care that he admitted under oath that he used steroids. They only care that he had an excellent season for THEIR team. I bet if he had a terrible season, they'd want to get rid of him with the quickness. I also can guaran-fluffing-tee that if a Red Sox star was in the same position, they would bitch and complain, just like we are...lol On January 16, 2013 at 3:49 PM, NJTank said: Btw this is old hat for Notre Dame. gashouser27
He may have had a good year and i know he had health issues but this diminishes this awardTo me it's like giving it to someone who missed a year because of drugs.
NJTank
Giambi got sick from the steroids, and trying to flsuh it out of his system when it became illegal. Thats what he was coming back from, thats a joke. If you come back from steroids you shoudl be ineligable for the award. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
