agentrygraphics
Covered or not...I'm not sure...but follow the link below to see this logo on ECHL.com in regards to the Toledo Storm. It is obviously an anniversary logo...but it looks like they went from the grade-schoolers design to gradient-heavy plop. I couldn't find whether the logo will be on jerseys, etc. or not. Also, I find it odd that the league would let them keep the "hurricane"-esque shape of the design, considering the ECHL has suspended 2 teams (Mississippi and Texas) because of Katrina and Rita, respectively.http://www.echl.com/cgi-bin/ppublic.cgi?ac...team&team_id=

Burning River
You find it odd that they let them keep/use that logo? Why? The Hurricane tie in? Really? By saying that, you're stating all weather related team names should be re-addressed... because people have lost their lives?EarthquakesLightningFireTornadosStormI'm sure "Steelers", "Whalers", "Miners", "Lumberjacks" have died on the job.I'm sure people have died from attacks by "Grizzlies", "Tigers", "Lions", "Bears", "Sharks"...These names are doomed too! TBGKon
If I remember correctly, this logo was created long before Katrina and Rita were household names

It is all PC stuff

Let's not forget that the Patriots killed more than a few Redcoats during the Revolutionary War...What'd next? U. of Miami changes its name to the "Light Breezes" ?
