STL FANATIC
Shouldn't the stick go all the way through the red...?
NJTank
I like it. It adds something to uniforms
Reaper98
Shouldn't the stick go all the way through the red...?It should go all the way to the edge of the red to form the separation of the "C." It looks like there are some patch cutting mistakes...

Moser316
It looks okay with the new colors and it really seems to work with the jersey design, but something doesn't sit quite right with me. Not saying it's bad, but it's just a recycled logo with new colors. It doesn't look too dated when compared with the crest logo, but I can see where somebody might have that criticism... Roger Clemente
It's a possible nod to the throwbacks they're wearing this season.--Roger "Time?" Clemente.
etown
I've seen this new patch on the jerseys in-person, and it works. It looks nice.My question, is this a permanent addition, or just a one-season deal as part of the whole retro gimmick for this season?
uniformity
I like the original logo but it looks awkward as a shoulder patch on that jersey. Its just a money grab anyways, orca bay doesnt really care about tradition.
oilfaninvan
Its just a money grab anyways, orca bay doesnt really care about tradition.true, however they haven't won a cup with any of the "traditional" jerseys. if they win a cup with their currents then they will more than likely start to care. see, the canucks have always sucked hard (give or take a few years, i know). the fans are big banwagoners, so you might as well get their money while they care. if i were the owner, screw it, i'd change the jerseys AGAIN!! ha! muuahahahah
Roger Clemente
Does anyone have a picture of the patch on the dark blue jerseys?--Roger "Time?" Clemente.
Big E
Does anyone have a picture of the patch on the dark blue jerseys?--Roger "Time?" Clemente. No, but it is the same patch, no differnet from the white 'away' jersey.
tajmccall
All of you nostalgia heads, god bless ya, lose your salt here.this is THE LEAST IMAGINATIVE MAJOR SPORTS TEAM LOGO ever.Besides of course the browns lack of one...simple yes, but it says nothing about the team name
Roger Clemente
Does anyone have a picture of the patch on the dark blue jerseys?--Roger "Time?" Clemente. No, but it is the same patch, no differnet from the white 'away' jersey. You'd think they'd recolor it, like make the rectangle red or light blue. The Canucks really underuse the light blue. --Roger "Time?" Clemente.
yh
simple yes, but it says nothing about the team nameUmmm, it's a "C." That's why the stick intersects the rink in that location. That might have something to do with the team name.
STL FANATIC
Have the Canucks ever had a logo that reflected the name other than having the name in it or just a C? You could make a minor argurement for the current one with the Orca whale looking much like native tribe symbols from around there but still. We all know the real rason it is being used... CC97
Here you go.....Image..Argh, that looks horrible on the homes... serious re-colouring needed. The road jersey looks pretty good with the stick logo.Home one needs work!
DEAD!
So what exactly is the 'C' part in the logo: the outline, or the rink, or both? I think the patch works well on BOTH jerseys. Is the patch supposed to be on both shoulders? And when do you think the Canucks will be off the patch?
Roger Clemente
Is this patch also going to be on the alternates, or are they actually doing away with them?--Roger "Time?" Clemente.
