Iowa Stars Uniforms

Went to the Wolves-Stars game last night. Those Iowa unis are even more beautiful to look at in person than what we've been shown here. Some details:

Numbering is gold on black on white; lettering is single layer white, both in standard hockey pro block.

Green jersey is worn with a black helmet, black pants, and green socks with a striping pattern that copies the jersey sleeves.

Right shoulder features a white state of Iowa with black and white outlines, with a green and gold star in the center(ish), mimicking Dallas' shoulder patch (though I didn't see an "I" in it.)

Left shoulder features the Dallas Stars' primary logo (pretty unnecessary IMO, given how similar Iowa's primary is to theirs.)

Oddly, in addition to the sponsor patch on the right chest, the left chest has some sort of additional Dallas Stars patch on the left chest. This leaves no room to place a "C" or "A."

All in all, though, the set looks fantastic. I put it in my AHL top 3, along with Chicago and Manitoba.

For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.
