I don't have a problem with the team, looks solid.

But when they were talking about Rivera they said he was "the greatest closer of all-time" now I'm not the smartest when it comes to relief pitching but does Mariano hold that tight a grasp on that title? I think Dennis Eckersly could give him a run for that title IMO.

And what was Pedro wearing? :wacko:

I agree with OB33, this is a solid team. One thing I noticed is that there are a lot of current players (I counted 7, plus Edgar Martinez who just recently retired). Latin America has certainly provided us with some great players.

There were sure a lot of good ones left off.

To name a few, Sammy Sosa, Rafael Palmeiro (say what you want about those two and steroids, but they're still among the greats), Orlando Cepeda, Tony Oliva, Luis Aparicio, Tony Perez and a whole lot more that I just can't think of right now.

As for the best Latin-American player of all time, you have to go with Roberto Clemente.
