tohasbo
I am pretty sure the North Stars beat Winnipeg 15-2 in the mid-1980s. (My uncle had seats behind the visitor's bench in the 1980s and he says that at the next Win/Min game, during the Canadian Anthem, he sang "15 to 2" during "Oh, Canada" and a player turned around and squirted him with a water bottle.) And my memory, though this was a long time ago, was that at the time, it was second all-time. I think Montreal had scored 17. But I have seen no reference thus far to anything more than 13 and I am no hockey historian. Toronto had 14 in 1957 against the rangers. Just look at the somewhat completed list. WJMorris3
I know there's a 15 - 0 game somewhere in the NHL record books, but I'm not sure where.EDIT: Found it - on 1/23/44 the Red Wings beat the Rangers 15 - 0, still an NHL record.

SEMOSTLfan
I know that the emphasis on offense is supposed to make the NHL more exciting for the fans but does anyone else besided me prefer to see a 2-1 game with a bunch of amazing saves by both goaltenders? WJMorris3
I wouldn't mind seeing a low scoring game with amazing saves. There are exciting low scoring games and boring low scoring games.
