As an Angels' fan, I'm glad Bengie went to a team that I somewhat like. A while ago, the Yankees were looking into him, and I really didn't want that. I can live with the Blue Jays....maybe they'll take the AL East this year.

He is proven, unlike Zaun, who just has a record of only having one good season - last years. This helps make sure Zaun didn't just have a lucky season, leaving us with a weak plate for a strong line up.

Phillies sign Alex S. Gonzalez, formally of the Blue Jays, Cubs and D-Rays. He is expected to replace Tomas Perez (thank god) as Jimmy Rollins back-up, be a key pinch hitter and possibly play some 1B or 3B depending on the match-ups.

Dr. Kelso: My son is a big baseball fan. Not so much playing it, but more the designing and sewing of uniforms.

Tyler: That's neat.

Dr. Kelso: No, it's not.

Red Sox trade Bronson Arroyo to Reds for Wily Mo Pena

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2376683

Now I need to find a new favorite player  :(

Yeah, I really liked Bronson too. Wily Mo Pena can be good for us -- similar numbers to Ortiz when he first came to Boston and he's only 24 with loads of potential. The strikeouts kind of worry me, though. I have faith that Ron Jackson can make him a star! If that's the case, then we'll have three Dominican Republican sluggers in our lineup! If not, we only lost an inconsistent starter. Bronson will definetely be missed, though.

I look at it this way, he'll get more opportunities in Cincinatti. Out rotation was full and he was an odd man out.
