A good logo should be able to stand on it's own and this is a great logo!!! Great concept too I hate the fact that some designers feel they have to put a hockey stick or football or have the logo wear a hat. To me it is pointless. Just a pet peeve of mine. Besides, with the horn that rhino is packing, if he is gay, you'd better hope he's a bottom...To the concept...the navy and purple don't fit, not because I don't like the colors (I think they're fine), but because the logo doesn't have those colors in it...Instead of changing the colors of the wordmark and uni to fit the rhino, try changing the colors of the rhino to fit the wordmark and uni. Great concept, but the colors are just killing it. It's not that purple couldn't be used, but not that shade - find the shade that the Lakers, LSU or the VIkings use if you've gotta gotta gotta use purple. Blue numbers on a black jersey are going to be hard enough to read with players standing still, let alone with players in motion. White or gray numbers would be much easier to read.
