brinkeguthrie
ah! well, i just added up the meager SF wins (2) and the many losses (9) and got 11. In SF, it has been too long a season, anyway. Is someone building us a new stadium yet?
NJTank
I fixed it to say Week 12 for ya I undertand. My observation is that kickers suck. You battle in the trences and put it on a kickers foot and it misses and all what you fought for goes for not when this skinny twirp with paino legs trots on to the field and kicks his leg up like the Rockettes. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
See Red
I must add one or two observations...The Broncos, after beating a good team on the road in the 2nd half of the season, are for real. The Bears have still only played one good team. Good offense. Average D. Adds up to going home a little earlier than they'd like. No Super Bowl record for the ugliest uniforms to ever play for a title.2. Even though they're 7-4 I just don't see the Giants as a real playoff threat. One and done if they get in. 3. I don't see the Pack spending the money on Leinart when they have Rodgers. It's not a matter of who's better between them it's just they already paid Rodgers, granted it's 26th pick money, but he's got a year in the system now and Favre is coming back for one more season. The Pack will trade down for more picks if Reggie Bush goes before they get a shot at him. (which he will) Actually I think this season is good for the Packers. They aren't as bad as their record and they could turn this around quick if they draft well.4. Michael Irvin. Nice going genius.5. I would say that with the ticket scandal, love boat, etc. there's no way Tice gets coach of the year under any circumstances. But then I thought there was no way Ray Lewis would get Super Bowl MVP coming off the whole murder thing in 2000. So based on that I think yeah the writers are probably looking for a reason to give it to Tice. 6. Dan Snyder has ruined what was once a great franchise. It's too bad.7. Rex Grossman...welcome to Miami, or Buffalo, or Arizona...8. I'll believe the Pats are dead when they are beaten in the playoffs and not a second before. 9. For the same reason Dave Wannstedt keeps getting coaching jobs. I have no idea on either one.
