Love them both... But the Outlaws logo reminds me a little but like the Kansas City Outlaws logo... They were basically a wannabe hockey team that folded after two seasons. Or maybe it was one

KC Jayhawk

I think last season was their only season in the UHL. They played at Kemper Arena and the reason they folded was their owner got arrested but I forgot what for. :D

No arrests in the Outlaws debacle...the owner (who's the son of the guy that runs the Fort Wayne Komets in the same league) just was losing money hand over fist.

But yeah, they were One And Done....shame too b/c they had one of the better logo & uni sets in the UHL.

Back to the reason for the thread in the first place

Rox, first off, :welcome:

On to the logos (which are pretty darn nice, IMO)

The Outlaws stuff is pretty darned good...I can see where it could remind folks of some other "Outlaw/Cowboy" themed logos (I mean, a guy with a bandanda over his face and a Stetson's pretty common for those type of logos so I can understand where folks could see similarities to other ones...personally, it's not even close to what the KC Outlaws used)...the wordmark's very solid (it's definitely got an Old West feel to it...never seen Pirate Keg used in that way...pretty good idea).

The Cavs set is pretty sharp... It's an extremely solid looking primary and it works well on the helmet model.

I like the secondary...nice touch. However, I do have to agree with Leopards88 about the choice of fonts on the wordmark for this one. For some reason, it just doesn't scream "Cavaliers" for some reason.

Also, and I'm putting this one last because it kind of jumped out at me after looking at the primary....It kind of has a striking similarity to the Patriots logo in the face. Dunno if anyone else pointed that out yet or not. And fear not, I'm not even remotely thinking there was some wrongdoing or anything like that...just pointing out something that struck me as kinda interesting.

Hope to see more stuff from ya in the future.

HatCityEnforcer,

the cavalier logo is based off of the pats logo. the person that wanted it wanted a logo in that style. so i used a side view of the face in the same style.

thanks for all the feedback guys!!! :D:D:D

Thanks for clearing that up...I kinda noticed it and had to bring it up...like I said, I didn't think any funny business was going on there, but was just curious about it.

Keep up the great work.
