leedsunited
We're -12 and about to bully League One into submission. Marching on together!Wait until you get chewed up by Forest. BTW, something we can all cheer, Spurs lost to Sunderland at the end of Injury time. What does 40 million quid buy you? Relegation Zone after the first day of the season. If there's one thing we can count on in today's ever-changing milieu, it's Spurts absolutely underachieving - no matter how much $$$ they dump into the squad. FiddySicks
Bucs beat SF 13-3.It feels good to, even for only one game, pwn a team better than you late in the season. Since when have the Giants been better than ANYONE this season? The Giants are ONE game better than the Pirates, and that was a lucky game
Audiodrama
The Sox are leading in the A.L. East and have the best pitching in baseball. The Patriots are football's modern dynasty and have the most talented roster in team history. The Celtics have acquired Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen, and are piecing together a very talented veteran ballclub. The Bruins ... exist. It's a good time to live in Beantown. See Red
Francona learned to not use Gagne in a close game! Well, maybe he didn't "learn"... but he didn't use Gagne in a close game!Talk about a fall from grace, huh?Heh... nah. All would be well had the Yankees not caught fire... still have the best record in the league, I believe. It's just that sometimes Francona can be a little too loyal to his guys -- it works out a lot of the time but coming down the stretch I don't think that's a good option right about now.Anyways, back on topic... can I celebrate something about another team that benefits mine? O's took 2 of 3 from the Yankees and Mariano Rivera has reverted back to his April ways.

Shumway
Lions are 2-0 in the preseason...only 8 more, Kitna. Yes, I'm counting preseason towards Kitna's guaranteed 10 wins.Unfortunately, the Angels dropped tonight's game to the BoSox. However, the other night, Ervin Santana looked really good, contrary to the rest of the season. Hopefully Ervin keeps it up...he can be dominant at times. DG_ThenNowForever
M's won a close won last night and are doing well so far today. It's a good time to be a fan of Seattle baseball, even if I'm totally jumping on the I-just-moved-here-and-isn't-it-great-they're-good bandwagon.
