Can't see the Birds taking either one.For one, we don't need a TE as badly as we need help elsewhere.For two, WR isn't all that bad. Reggie Brown should improve upon his rookie year, Pinkston spent the offseason bulking up and he's coming back healthy at a solid 225*, and Reggie Wayne will look great in midnight green.There are too many holes on the D-line to ignore. No more former truck drivers, no more cutting Raheem Brock (a Temple guy from Philly, no less!), no more pretending there's depth where there isn't and allowing Burgess and Simon to walk without compensation. And the O-line's not much better. Runyan could go, Tra Thomas might be done (and Herremans is a D-II player trying to play LT no matter how you slice it), and Fraley's going to come back even though he was outplayed by JJ.People are also screaming for a new LB. A.J. Hawk would be sweet, but improving the D-line in front of the LBs will make the LBs that much better.*225 grams. What'd you think I meant? 225 pounds? PINKIE? C'mon! "Start spreading the news...
