Apparently, after the Tide's 34-31 loss in 20T to Arkansas on Saturday, the disgrunted fan was interrupted by his 20 year-old son wanting a new car.

The son picked a very bad time to ask for a car.

The father, then went and got a 9 mm pistol from his car and put it to his son's head. The father, one Joseph Logan of Pinson, Alabama, then pulled the trigger. Seth Logan, the son, pulled his head out of the way just in time to avoid being shot.

The father was upset that his son, who has apparently wrecked several cars, would ask for another new car.

The father also "claims" he was just trying to scare his son.

Some people take their football just a tad bit too seriously.
