Discrim Posted October 6, 2003 Share Posted October 6, 2003 I believe the Cubs did have a blue alternate in 1994-96 with the 'Cuba' script, although I'm not sure they wore it very often.i still maintain my belief that it was just a BP jersey. the expos had a BP with gamestyle trim from when they went to their current game look til this spring, so i got that backin me up. not backing me up is the fact that they wore it last season in philly cus of the heat one game. Now every time we see a clip of the 97 world series we get to see the indians in their navy alternates, which is not a bad alt. but the world series has a certain tradition surrounding it.
