OMMF
Uhh, is anyone even watching Washington play or are they getting an 8 based on their performance last year? They just got swept by my Washington State Cougars for the first time since 1994, and have 5 conference losses in a VERY weak Pac-10. Unless they win the conference tournament, I don't see them getting in at all. That's not a Coug talking either, that's just being realistic. Natsfan36
ok seadragon, fyi, i wrote that after creighton lost nate funk and lost 2 games, while nebraska was on a good streak....(after i wrote it, creighton won and nebraska lost)anyways.. there will be no 5 from the MVC, i noticed you had Mizzu State, which prob wont happen....the MVC is doing good, but not that good....although 3 teams are tied for 1st, and 4 teams have an RPI in the top 25.... I just wanna do hoodrat things with my friends.

Please. For the love of all things holy, do not refer to Missouri State as Mizzu State, Mizzou State or any other derivitive of Missouri University-Columbia's names. Fans of both schools thank you.I don't know how you can say the Valley is "not that good." collegeRPI.com on 2/12 had these rankings for Valley teams:19. Northern Iowa (21-5, 11-4)22. Wichita State (20-6, 11-4)23. Southern Illinois (18-7, 11-4)24. Missouri State (16-7, 9-6)29. Creighton (17-6, 11-4)Five teams in the top 30 of the RPI, Two of them already with 20 wins and three more of them with a chance to get there. Not that good? That said, I fear the Valley will get four in if they're lucky - but not more. That's a shame. The Valley on reputation alone does not deserve five, but if you look at the credentials of the teams this season I think you can make an argument that they deserve it this year. Your Missouri State Bears are going to have to beat my UWM Panthers this Saturday to improve your chances, and while I don't know much about MSU's style of play, you're going to have your hands full against UWM's offense. Rob Jeter actually carried quite a bit over from the Bruce Pearl era, plus Boo Davis is lethal from beyond the arc when he gets hot (not much unlike Ed McCants during last year's Sweet 16 run). rams80
IMO the best chance the MVC has at five is if Missouri State or Bradley wins the conference tournament. Seadragon76
How does Hofstra, who have 3 wins over the co-CAA Regular Season Champions (2 vs. George Mason and 1 vs. UNC Wilmington), get hosed in favor of the team they just recently beat in the CAA Semis? Explain that. Also, explain how Air Force gets jobbed out? They finished second in the Mountain West behind San Diego State and more then likely will meet the Aztecs in the finals. They have 23 wins this season (Which is a record for them). The MWC is traditationally a two bid league, so I expect Air Force to land a bid along with San Diego State (Sorry, BYU).
