pagan696 Posted February 3, 2006 Share Posted February 3, 2006 'nother nice tip...grab a HotRod, Truckin', or any other similar auto/truck/motorcycle magazine, scan a flame job you like, place and trace in illy.after you do a few, you'll see there's many different types and styles as well as widths and length styles to use. find what suites you best.once you get to be old hat at building the flame art, import it back into photoshop for some fun with bevels, gradient fills, shadows, and ghosted images in the artwork much like you'd see on high end custom paint jobs. it's a ton of fun! phocused Posted February 7, 2006 Share Posted February 7, 2006 When using the pen tool you can't overstate the importance of a good mouse. Especially for hot rod style flames.
