Patchez
Don't peek, Don't Cheat...Quick Poll, is the batter on the MLB logo batting lefty or righty?
OnWis97
I'd say you cannot tell.
leopard88
I'd say you cannot tell. That wasn't one of the options -- even though it is probably true.If I must choose, I'll vote righty out of my natural bias that way (i.e., That I bat righthanded. On political right vs. left, I lean a little left.).
BelfourThibault
Hard to tell, but judging by his hands, I'd say he's a lefty.

paynomind
I say righty, cause why would we be looking at his back?
NEPats
I'd say he is a switch hitter....................
Jigga
I'm leaning left...So's the logo...lol
leopard88
I say righty, cause why would we be looking at his back? If he's batting righty, we ARE looking at his back.
TheLoadedRightArmofGod
Wasn't the logo patterned after Killebrew, who batted righty? My guess is left-handed though. Something about the knunkles and elbow doesn't make sense if it's of the back of a righty...
bigtex
Whether lefty or righty, I have one problem with the MLB logo, either:a ) he has a horrible stanceorb ) he's swinging too late at a high fastball and is going to strike out and lose the world series... A) He's got a wonderful stance. Just look at that perfect trigger position. He's not swinging. He's wisely watching a fastball cross the strike zone at his shoulders for a ball. No umpire in the world calls that pitch a strike. Way to make the pitcher work!

jm1266
Actually is was modeled after Harmon Killebrew... not Pete Rose.
winghaz
The logo was purposely set up to look like it's either a lefty or righty.Granted, the logo is of Harmon Killebrew, who is a righty. Still, the silhouette effect is to make it look either way.

Perfect Zero
Ah, Harmon Killebrew, my favorite player of baseball ever. When kids would choose to be Ruth or Rose, I chose to be Killebrew. I say the logo dosen't look anything like him, but to each his own.BTW, if generic, he's a righty.
SportzStar01234
If I remember correctly, he bats right handed.
