So blame me if you like.But I felt the Swedes had a chance--especially when I saw the US get sloppy and the Swedes almost score...And then there was the US's inability to beat Martin, even when they dominated the Swedish zone...Well GO Canada Comic Sans walks into a bar, and the bartender says, "Sorry, we don't serve your type here." Cujo Posted February 18, 2006 Share Posted February 18, 2006 I'd say not making the Women's hockey final is about as sad as seeing the USA Men's basketball team not winning gold in the summer games because there's no excuse for them to not to be there, but props to Sweden for taking it to the States. If the Sweds can knock off the Canadians for the gold, I would have to compare that to the "Miracle on Ice" team from 1980 games as one of the greatest upset runs in Olympic history.
