VitaminD
Breaking news: Yankees put their s on the trading block. Yes, but that's only as a salary dump. After next season, they're going to get the Red Soxs' "s" once it's on the free agent market.And... there. It's official. We've beaten the dead horse, pronounced at 8.01p, Eastern Standard Time. Well I heard that the Phillies tried to trade their "s" for some pitching, but thanks to Ed Wade, the "s" has too long a deal and a full no-trade clause.Maybe Gillick can trade Bobby Abreu, our "s", and throw in our red, to the Marlinss for Dontrell Willis, teal, and Billy the Marlin. It's because of all the S Ed Wade pulled during his tenure that the Phillies can't do anything about the sea of bad contracts they're... um... (wait for it...) wading through right now. [Rimshot!]As for your trade proposal, that leaves the Philss with an extra mascot and two shades of blue. And Paul Hagen said that the Mariners Pacific Teal is willing to waive its no-trade clause in exchange for Billy the Marlin and an old Phil Bradley jersey. We'd be so stocked with blues and teals that it'd hurt the rest of the team.

It's a three-way trade; teal will then be shipped to Walt Disney for Oswald the Lucky Rabbit (acquired in the Al Michaels deal last week).
