Dave Ship
The dossier prepared by the FIGC for Italy's candidature for the 2012 European Championships was given today to UEFA.The entire documentation, with all the attachments foreseen by regulations, was taken to Nyon by the FIGC secretary Francesco Ghirelli who deposited it in the offices of the European Federation."Our presence in Nyon - explained Ghirelli - has two reasons behind it: due respect with regards to UEFA and the importance that Italian football has given to the candidature for 2012 Euro".Personally, as italian, i don't like it. It's not modern and too much static. Probably it's just for this candidature. My PicturesMy Portfolio
alexgizh
It's not my personal favorite either I think that it is UEFA's practice to have different official logos from the bid logos. Portugal 2004 and Austria/Switzerland 2008 are good examples of this.First, let Italy win, then care about the REAL logo.
ABCJr
Actually, as someone with a true love for art deco and euro deco illustration, I love this thing. One of the struggles I've had is attempting to create truly deco design (with the dirty gradients) in illustrator as below. This is just really cool. Swiss
I like the old logo-mascot of 1990 WC held in Italy. It's great to be young and a Giant! - Larry Doyle
