STL FANATIC Posted March 1, 2006 Share Posted March 1, 2006 I'm not sure why Chris Carpenter wouldn't be the Cards opening day starter, but it's not announced and you never know for sure with TLR. Plus, with the Cards home opener being nine (I think) days later, it's possible he'll want the rotation set for a particular pitcher to pitch the first game at Busch III.
