You maintain your position that Red Sox Nation is your biggest rival... while also (and, more importantly) providing yourself with a nice EXCUSE should the Yankees lose to the Marlins in the World Series. Talk about hedging your bets. I mean, I'm one of your most hated rivals and, objectively speaking, even I think that the Yankees' experience will win-out over the Marlins' "Cinderella" run through the playoffs. You're supposed to be one of the Yankees' fans... and you're selling them out. This one is on the record... and it has nothing to do with our rivalry, because I'd say this if I was a fan of the San Diego Padres... but, that has got to be one of the MOST GUTLESS sports fan COP-OUTS I've ever heard IN MY LIFE!!!"... i don't care if we win the series now or not..."And according to the time/date stamp, posted AFTER the Yankees lost Game 1 to the Marlins.
