Great site.

A couple things that I would change. In the Historical Moments box I'd left justify the paragraphs. That center alignment makes it more difficult to read and since your site is an "encyclopedia" easy readability should be a prime concern.

Also I'd put every other text statement in a slightly different colored/shaded cell of it own. That way you'd have some easier on the eyes transition and again easier, more comfortable reading.

The other thing that looks out of place on the page is the link image that you use on the page to the right of the address box on top. That image looks pixalated and stretched and the beveling is just not quite right. I'd find something the same size as the image on the left (Pictures) and use it on the right side to balance the page.

Coming off the 2004 World Series 2005 would be hard for the Red Sox to follow up, as key free agency losses and injuries spelt a first round playoff sweep.

You should consider breaking up those long paragraphs a bit. Seriously, you need to consider "readability" for the masses when designing your site, instead of what your personal preference or tolerance might be.

And your center paragraph alignment screams "career minor leaguer".

At the risk of sounding like a total jerk - which, although I can be, I insist I am not and just offering constructive criticism - you've got to do something about the grammar, man. It makes it so hard to read when it's either too choppy or there are too many run-ons.

For example, the last sentence in your Padres 2005 Recap area about the playoffs took me three or four attempts to read just because it was so long. The information is there, and that's great, but it's difficult. I suggest maybe having an outside proofreader check the information before you post it? That could help catch anything you miss.

Nevertheless, good work as usual.

About a year late on this one, but I noticed some errors in your thing about the 2004 Red Sox. First, Kevin Millar is, at atleast one point, referred to as Keith Millar. Second being that David Ortiz's homerun in the 8th inning did not tie the game -- it was a leadoff shot that made it a one run game. The game got tied after Dave Roberts again got a stolen base against Mariano Rivera (after a Millar walk?), got moved to third on a Trot Nixon, and scored on a Sac fly to center by Varitek. That's all I've read of it so far, I'll point out anything else I find.

The Dodgers won the Division in 2004, but slipped big time in 2005 finishing 4th as their GM and Manager were both fired.
