Korkie
I loved the blue pants back in the day. I wish they still used them from time to time, however, they wouldn't work as well today with the gray facemask.
cranium
I liked the blue pants too. I've never been a fan of the all white uni.I think bonds is pointing to where he just shot himself with steroids.
jerseyfan
Man, that shade of blue in the Bill's unis looks darker than I remember. It looks amazing, but darker than I remember.Colts pants look sweet too.
cranium
As I recall the colts pants were kind of shiney, so the color in that picture might be off.
Johnny H
Didn't they just wear those for 1 year?I think it was Ron Meyer's last year there.
Korkie
Didn't they just wear those for 1 year?I think it was Ron Meyer's last year there. I am pretty sure they wore them against Pittsburgh in the Harbaugh AFC title game for the '94 season. So that may be the season they wore them. slats7
Bigger mystery: the whereabouts of Bryce Paup.
Frylock
Even bigger mystery (for me, at least...)Did the Giants wear white hats with their TATC jerseys? I surely don't remember that. I vividly recall the D-Backs, Mets, and Red Sox sporting the ice cream lids as full-time alts, however, but not the Giants. Confirmation on this, anyone? sj32
Didn't they just wear those for 1 year?I think it was Ron Meyer's last year there. They wore them early in the 1995 season (Marchibroda's last). They were banned by the NFL because the Colts never contacted the league office to have them approved.

I am pretty sure they wore them against Pittsburgh in the Harbaugh AFC title game for the '94 season. So that may be the season they wore them. no, they didn'tAnd the game was the '95 AFC Championship Game, not '94.I really liked the Colts blue pants. I don't see why the Colts didn't keep them after the '95 season (unless the league shot it down again). It could have been a good luck/winning-type thing, kinda like how the Chiefs went back to red pants on the road several year back.

I think they lost 2 of 3 regular season games in them and they were talking about scrapping them before the league made the decision for them. cableguy
I went to the NFL Hall of Fame yesterday and they had an IMAX movie presentation which featured many clips of the Lions in those Blue Pants. I think both those and the colts blue pants looked really nice.
Cujo
The Lions' blue pants were neat the first time I saw them, but they got old fast. I'm glad the Lions went back to silver ... Now only if the Eagles would take note.
Sodboy13
How about these blue pants?! Ah, but this picture does not do justice to the Lions' blue-panted season, as it fails to show the glory of the grey sock. Man, I loved that look. Ditto for the Colts' blue pants.
