NJTank
What a bizzare tournament this has been we have a team from the CAA in the Final 4 and none from the ACC, and unless Nova rallies an 11th seed and no #1 seeds. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
WJMorris3
Curty, you had asked if anyone had picked one of the Final Four teams.Out of 2.7 million entries to ESPN's tournament challenge, exactly two, it seems, have picked all four Final Four teams. ROCHitman
Against All Odds,do you have season tix for GMU basketball? If you do, you're gonna make a killing.Back when Cuse went to the Final4 in 1996, the season tix holders are offered final4 tix at a pretty decent cost. Like 30-40 per ticket. Ticket brockers will show up at the box office when the are officially released to the season tix holders and offer you absurd amounts of money for them. A few of my housemates nd I grabbed our Final4 tix and were offered as much as 20K for all 4 tix. We passed on the money and took advantage of the once in a lifetime opportunity to see our Orange play at the Meadowlands for 2 games. We're we crazy or just stupid?? HurricaneDavid
Students are provided tickets for free when they show their ID, so I'd doubt any students have "season tickets" at Mason. They don't even advertise season tickets to non-students... just individual games. Keep in mind that basketball at Mason is nothing like basketball at Syracuse, or any other major, or even mid-major, school. The Patriot Center holds 10,000, but they usually only draw half that. Well, I'm guessing the University may allow the students, since their are so few of them, to purchase itx at a reduced price. Seems only logical so that GMU can be well represent in Indianapolis. I think the NCAA allotts something like 5K to each school. Owner of Kalamazoo Tech Kobras (Nat'l College Fant. Assc. Pat
I had UCLA and Florida in the F4, so I should be happy, but my God wasnt it George Mason, Hofstra fans were bitching about getting into the tournament on Selection Sunday? No complaints anymore they are for real and its scary. Weirdest looking F4 I can remember! Gonna be fun! Proud owner of the Utah Pioneers of the Continnental Baseball League.PACKER BACKER FOREVER! They sell at face value, not a reduced price. The student body is about 30,000, so it's not like they have enough to give everyone a ticket. Nope, no season tickets, I just bought tickets individually. We did have the option to purchase season tickets, but i never did. Tickets for the game against Florida are $170 a piece. We have a program called the Patriot Platoon, which is a student fan club, which is what you have to be in to be offered tickets if you didn't have season tickets.
