The piping and side panel idea, while it looks fine now, will scream "the '00s redesign." Which is exactly what you'd want, from a marketing standpoint. By then, you get to design a new uniform. New uniforms, fans want new unis to keep pace - more $$$. Just like how cars are re-designed every few years, so will unis. It must suck for whoever bought an authentic Vikes jersey last year. That's a pretty big investment and it's the reason I haven't spent the $$ on an authentic Saints jersey. I figure as soon as I do they'll redesign the uni's. That supposed black along the top seems pretty obviously a light trick on the edge of the decal. In 5..4..3..2..1 Posted April 29, 2006 Share Posted April 29, 2006 I think we have a picture of Wiggins on here somewhere in this thread that shows him grabbing the facemask when the were trying out the unis in new york at the medowlands it was clearly purple. Maybe it just the lighting that is making it look black in those pictures but it really does look black in the pictures. Also the outline on the decal is black I asked someone at scorehere .com which sells the mini helmets which I collect (now I need a new Vikes helmet!)and they said yes the outline is black.
