bipolarbear
i think the new york knicks should have poop brown alternates.
oddball
There are a lot of teams that should have that color brown uniforms... can we say the LA KINGS and the two biggest pieces of crap Jeremy Roenick and Sean Avery? As far as the Bobcats, before you pull out a Navy uni, try pulling out a decent logo and wordmark first!
VitaminD
It's a trick question. No team should be the next to have an alternate. The trend reached critical mass years ago. You don't need a week's worth of possible combos and an entire wardrobe to tell one team from the other during a game.
bricknivy
No more retro jersey nights either. Enough already. Turn on ESPN and you're never sure who is playing on TV. Another reason to love the simplicity of the Spurs black and whites.
therebelas
Not sure if it would look good, but wouldn't mind seeing the Grizzlies in either the Grizzlies Gold or the light blue.
LMU
If alts are absolutely necessary, which they aren't, they should be relegated to Sunday home games, like how the Lakers schedule their home whites. Football... well, maybe save them for primetime games. And retro should be used for holiday games.
eRay
i always thought houston needed a gray alt to go with their butt ugly new jerseys.
Krona
I Think The Charlotte Bobcats Should Have Navy Blue Alternates If they did it right in the first place, they should have a carolina blue alt, but navy would be great

Avenger
I'd be interested in seeing a black Buccaneers jersey (hopefully one better executed than the fashion jersey), a Tampa Bay Lightning blue (not the rain/wave one from 5-10 years ago, though), an Angels navy, a Blue Jays blue (wha?!), and a Phillies red.Within the big 4 leagues, I can't picture anyone else making much use of an alternate that doesn't already have one.I'm of the school of thought that, as long as they're well designed and used somewhat sparingly, alternate jerseys can be a nice augmentation to a teams wardrobe. Am I in favor of wearing them every other game? No. Do I like ugly alternates? Of course not. I'm just not willing to throw the baby out with the bathwater on account of the Islanders' or the Dolphins' orange gettups...a Dolphins navy blue, on the other hand.... Michael_Studebaker
I think the more alternate and throwback uniforms, the better. They only enhance the spectating experience. It gets boring seeing the same uniforms over and over again. I don't understand why they upset so many people.
Drew22
All alternates are used for is $$$$. You see the jersey, say That's awsome, look for the jersey and then you buy the jersey. They are cool maybe once, but after that they are unneeded.DRew
DG_ThenNowForever
Not sure if it would look good, but wouldn't mind seeing the Grizzlies in either the Grizzlies Gold or the light blue. Grizzlies in light blue would be the Denver Nuggets.I was watching the Nuggets and Jazz last night and it looked like a scrimmage. Something has to be done about all of the teams in the NBA using light blue, blue and white as major colors.
Hat Boy
I don't understand why they upset so many people. They don't "upset" me, but I don't like the rash of alternate jerseys. Here are some of the reasons why:1. Teams wear alternate jerseys for the sole purpose of marketing these jerseys to fans. It has nothing to do with bettering the game or with team spirit. When wearing their alternate jerseys, a Cavaliers vs. Pistons basketball game is just a 48 minute TV ad.2. Alternate jerseys are eitehr a ridiculous redesign (Sac Kings' gold), ugly (Dolphins' orange) or just don't make sense (Eagles' black).3. Teams with too many uniforms. The Bengals have 6 different uniform combos and the Mets have at least 4. At one time, the Mets had two different BP hats! You really shouldn't have to wonder what your team is going to be wearing when you go to the stadium (of course, the Bengals took care of that by announcing their "uniform of the day" on their schedule).4. When alternates are worn more the than regualr uniform. The Cubs and A's (away) have great looking unifoms, but they wear their drab alternates more often.5. Not being able to tell who is playing. If you are at a restaurant and there is a TV in the bar, you shouldn't have to wonder if the football team wearing silver and black is the Raiders, the Panthers or the Lions. TruColor
I Think The Charlotte Bobcats Should Have Navy Blue Alternates If they did it right in the first place, they should have a carolina blue alt, but navy would be great "Charlotte Bobcats Blue" is actually - in terms of fabric colors - exactly the same as the Seahawks' "Pacific Blue". They both use a proprietary textile developed by Reebok.
IceCap
2. Alternate jerseys are eitehr a ridiculous redesign (Sac Kings' gold), ugly (Dolphins' orange) or just don't make sense (Eagles' black). That's right, all alts are ungly or don't make sense There are just as many good alternates then there are bad. 4. When alternates are worn more the than regualr uniform. The Cubs and A's (away) have great looking unifoms, but they wear their drab alternates more often. So, according to you, the blue and green jerseys of the Cubs and A's are drab compared to their plain grey road uniforms? If anything the road uniforms are drab compared to their respective alternates.

lucky
a Blue Jays blue (wha?!) I know that this was meant to be an open-ended question, but I think Avenger has come up with the correct answer. Obvious and necessary.
