clyon81
Do you remember the NES Classic RBI Baseball? How would you like to play it with all of the players of today, for free, on your computer?Ive spent countless hours preparing this in time for the start of the MLB season. What it includes:*All 30 MLB teams on 3 roms (East/West/Central)*All Players final 2005 stats (avg/hr/era)*Accurate attributes scaled within the original rom*2006 projected lineups according to ESPN The Mag*2p pause/same team selectPlease give them a try and let me know what you think here and/or at the 2k6 forums: http://league.rbicentral.com
Sodboy13
Oh, hot damn.I actually did this for 2000-02, using a rather clunky program called RBI Manager, and another program to go pixel-by-pixel with the team abbreviations. Following the old-school format, I put in all 8 playoff teams and two all-star teams comprised of players from the rest of the league. Playing RBI, with those aluminum bats and 250-foot fences in the heart of the steroids era, well, it certainly is interesting. And it also required artificially lowering the ERAs of pitchers since the program allowed a maximum of 3.55. If anyone's interested, I'll upload the ROMs.
clyon81
I hear ya, I had to do those same things for RBI 2k3 when I did all 30 teams. That was a project indeed. There is a web-based editor that is beyond anything you could imagine. Check it out at http://nightwulf.rbicentral.com/rbi-editor/Also, I dont know if you've been there, but www.dee-nee.com is THE place for anything RBI Baseball related. Play it and let me know what you think, ok?
amare32
I'd like to give it a spin, but I'm running a Mac. Is it compatible w/ Mac? If so, what program should I use to open it?

Sodboy13
Okay, I played around with the editor, which is simply freaking awesome. I've uploaded my 2000-02 seasons to the editor's site, with some extra tweaks thanks to this glorious piece of software. I also plan on updating these further at some point (converting pitchers' ERAs back to their actuals, including pitchers' batting averages, and all that good stuff.) Plus I now feel obligated to do 2003-05. So much of my life is going to be wasted away by this. Have a go and let me know what you think. Play an all-star game in the 2001 season and have fun winning 52-49.

amare32
Where can I find keyboard configurations for the Mac? I can tell that the Option key swings the bat and the arrows move the fielders and control which base a player throws to, but I can't find figure out any of the other buttons. Please advise. Thanks. clyon81
Sweet I just downloaded it. But I'm having trouble with the controls. I'm using FCEultra, could anyone tell me what the exact controls, all I know is . is pitch and hit. there isnt really any diving or anything. to throw to the base, you hit the arrow in the direction, and throw. if you hit the arrow and the throw button at the same time, it will throw faster to gun people out.
