That's a nice looking shirt, though I think the black -- especially on the crest -- is really out of place.

It may look better with black shorts, which United almost always pair with their white shirts.

Fullham

odd shoulderthing

Fulham's sponsor has a new logo, which gives the kit a much cleaner look. Pipex's old identity was horrid.

I prefer the old Pipex logo and the old kit overall.

and an excellent job you did Gordie -- much thanks to you and Chris for your hard work.

Here'seltic in their third shirt against DC United. Coors Light is the sponsor, might just be for stateside games. I think they wore Coors Light when they were over the last time.

Ah yes, the Coors Light ads are back. If I'm not mistaken Coors owns Carling, the regular shirt sponsor

I saw, I came, I left.

Also when checking the Celtic site, the new shirts are offered for Europe and US tour. Rather interesting. Europe shirt has the Carling logo on it and the site states the Coors Light shirts are for USA only

But Carling's still crap lager.

...just like Celtic was last night! :D

[Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008

I'm an idiot with computers so I can't figure out how to post the pic, but the The Sun newspaper of London has a pic of Wayne Rooney in the new home Man U Kit.

Either enter through their main page at thesun.co.uk or try this link,

the official team site also shows more pics after the official unveiling. www.manutd.com

The new Olympique Lyonnais home kit will be unveilled on the 16th of July, I can't wait.

All umbros seem to be similar this year so expect it to be the same/similar to evertons and rangers.

Barca will be wearing UNICEF on their kits for the next five years

UNICEF and FC Barcelona have reached a global agreement to work together over the next five years to help orphaned children in vulnerable situations and, in particular, those that have the HIV/AIDS virus.

Below is the joint statement made by FC Barcelona and UNICEF on Friday.

"UNICEF, the United Nations agency whose goal it is to guarantee children's rights, and Futbol Club Barcelona, through their FundaciĆ³, have reached an agreement to work together for the benefit of orphaned children in vulnerable situations, in particular those that are affected by the HIV/AIDS virus.

"With this new global alliance with UNICEF, FC Barcelona, through their FundaciĆ², is committed to defending these objectives for the next five years.

"The signatures and the official presentation of the agreement will take place on August 11 at the United Nations headquarters in New York, within the framework of the tour of Mexico and the United States that the first team football squad are undertaking.

"The theme of this accord is Bar*a, more than a club, a new global hope for vulnerable children.

"UNICEF was founded in 1946 by General Assembly of the United Nations to reply to childrens' urgent needs in Europe which, after World War Two, were in a very precarious situation.

"The first UNICEF programmes allowed emergency help to reach millions of children in the Middle East, China and Europe. Since then, the protection of all children, without distiction of race, beliefs, nationality or religion has become a universal mission that is now almost 60 years old."

Not sure if they will simply replace the Channel 3 logo on the left sleeve or if they will be placed on the front of the jersey

tis a shame that coors owns carling - carling is a far superior product

not saying much at all.

hmm. wondered what that "3" logo was - is that the Catalonian TV channel?

I hope they don't do a chest logo. It's Barca, they're logoless, they should remain so.

in more pressing news: anyone got photochops of the new Juve, Fiorentina, Milan and Lazio kits with Serie B patches? :D

You sure about that? Nowhere does it mention anything about altering Barca's kit. The news on Barca's Web site also makes no mention of wearing UNICEF on the kit. All they've done is formed a partnership.
