jkrdevil
The Philly Buffalo game is tied at 2 going into OT. Great game so far. A huge hit on Umberger in the first OT. This series is starting to get nasty and it's just the first game. This is going to be a fun series.

Brass
That hit by Campbell was by far one of the cleanest and meanest hits I've ever seen. On 4/10/2017 at 3:05 PM, Rollins Man said: what the hell is ccslc?

Fred T. Jane
RJ was later claimed to have said "and if I can just hit my free throws, we can advance to play LeBron in the next round".I can believe it. Yikes, what a great hit! [Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008 Attention: In order to obtain maximum enjoyment from your stay at the CCSLC, the reader is advised that the above post may contain large amounts of sarcasm, dry humour, or statements which should not be taken in any true sort of seriousness. ROCHitman
Good to hear he's okay.If he has a concussion, no way he should play in game 2. that's plain foolish. HedleyLamarr
RJ Umberger looked like he was in dream land when he was leaving the ice. And Hitchcock said RJ was "fine" and "good to go for game 2" in his post-game press conference. UNBELIEVABLE! I was thinking he had the wind knocked out of him more than anything else. Maybe a broken jaw at the point of contact, but I don't remember his head ever hitting the ice, so I was ruling out a concussion....I can believe he'll be back for the next game. He's a hockey player and it's the playoffs....players will play with broken bones and stitched-up faces just to play in the playoffs....
jkrdevil
Wow, I had heard he would be out for the playoffs but that was during the game and it was through other message boards that I read TSN said that. Looks like he will play in game 2 though. Glad to see he is fine.Watching on OLN made the hit seem scary because they cut to a close up of him and less than a second later came the big hit. youcan'tseeme
It was a by the book clean hit, but it was a head shot, and anyone who says anything otherwise is full of it. plus the fact that the buffalo scoreboard guys played the hit on the jumbotron, whoever did that should be fined by the league, even though he is fine now at the time he looked terrible and was hurt, so they show it and the crowd cheers because Brian Cambell took a head shot and injured someone? Lindy Ruff complains about tuckers "head shot" on Hecht, and then one of his players takes a head shot and hurts someone, if I were hitchcock i would've done the exact same thing Ruff did, got some reporters around me and told them how it was a joke, so you know what Buffalo have fun cause your team is going, going all the way to get there golf bags tee off in a few days, so bring Cambell, bring Peters and bring Ruff they can all come golfing with the leafs, I hate Phili, but I hate Buffalo even for so Go Flyers Go! and have fun blowing it again Buffalo, how many cups have you one again? zero, and it's gonna stay that way!
