DelayedPenalty
I'm sure some of you have seen the Home Depot commercials advertising Glidden's Team Color paints (US only I believe). In the commercial, the first team the potential paint buyer, and sports fan encounters is the Oakland Athletics elephant....However, when you go to the website, http://www.mostcolorfulfan.com/, there is no MLB...What's up with that?! I'm not a big baseball fan, but don't you think if you advertise something you should sell it?! And why is there no NHL colors like they sell in Canada? Tazz013
Nice of them to include vectorized versions of all those logos in an unprotected PDF! With all of the PDF password decryptors out there, what would be the point of protecting it?According to their press release, they to have "agreements" with the MLB to do team colors; maybe they just don't have and the colors translated to paint yet. They do have the MLB logo uploaded to their site, but it's not used.http://www.mostcolorfulfan.com/images/home/logo_mlb.jpg Save the slugalo. skizum1
that is odd that they don't list the MLB on the site. I work for Home Depot and have seen the flyer in the stores and most if not all of the MLB teams are available.hope that helps.-dhe
COLVIN35
I work for Glidden and we actually had a meeting about this product launch with the Home Depot this morning. MLB is included as far as I know, so I'm not sure what is up with the logos and color chart being left off of the PDF. I'm not sure why the NHL wasn't included with the others, especially with them going with the Federation of Mexican Futbol.
FiddySicks
My question is, is the Pewter they use for the Buccaneers paint metallic, or just that ugly ass flat tan looking crap? Tazz013
I found the baseball chart on their site.It doesn't have the Cardinals, and it lists the Los Angeles Angles of Anaheim first and only by the team name (meaning they're still calling them the Anaheim Angles) http://www.mostcolorfulfan.com/pdf/baseball.pdfI also see that they have the Brewers retro colors and a powder blue for the White Sox: White Sox and powder blue? Isn't their throwback blue a navy blue? Save the slugalo.
HurricaneDavid
That link is broken. Also, the White Sox powder blue might be part of their US Cellular/Comiskey Park theme - the stadium seats are all powder blue.

Roger Clemente
They have something like this in Canada, only it's for NHL team colors at Home Depot. Features a bunch of hockey players (wearing real jerseys with fake names in the real number fonts on the back) standing in line at Home Depot to get paint. The brochure only lists three colors per team, but has every team.--Roger "Time?" Clemente. Follow me on Twitter if you care: @Animal_Clans.My opinion may or may not be the same as yours. tbro
I have a great marketing campaign for this...Peyton Manning shows up to paint dad's den with his roller, brushes, and Glidden paint...Eli comes by the next day to do the same. Then Peyton the next day. Then Eli the next day...You get the picture.Would also work well with Ronde and Tiki Barber.Or Michael Vick and Marcus Vick...although the colors for the Falcons and Mean Machine are very similar, so that might not work as well.
