Seadragon76 Posted June 11, 2006 Author Share Posted June 11, 2006 We have our first two entries to Omaha!The Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech send College of Charleston back home to lick their wounds and Clemson, a day after nailing a walk off Grand Slam to beat Oral Roberts in Game 1, finish off the Golden Eagles and will face ACC Rival Georgia Tech in Omaha.Also today, the first game between South Carolina and Georgia was classic. back to back to back to back to back homers... CLemson in Pmaha.. well, if we win, it will be on a strong performance, but if not, it is a great Clemson team. This is similar to how the process works for the NCAA Basketball Tourny, in which the top seeds can't meet until the Final Four.Also, two more teams are in. North Carolina is in after a 9th inning 2 run homer to beat Alabama. The Heels will meet traditional powerhouse Cal State Fullerton, who knocked out Missouri last night.As for the USC-Georgia game: That was Game 1 of a Best-of-3, Payno.
