ZoDogg34
I found this on Eastbay. Is it just a mistake?
jhans203
No it's probably just a fashion jersey.
Bearcats
Weird because it says:Reebok Men's NBA Authentic Short - Alternate Nuggets GoldExact shorts worn by NBA players.
tBBP
o it's probably just a fashion jersey.God I hope so. Looking at their home court on TV is already enough of an eyesore. That + yellow alts--dont even wanna think about that.(And this is coming from someone who's FAVORITE COLOR is yellow, so take that for what its worth...) *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||
MrAsterisk
But their current alternates are so ridiculously awesome!

Sodboy13
The fact that the underutilized "crossed pickaxes" logo is on these shorts gives me the suspicion that you've stumbled onto something. And besides that, I know fashion jerseys are commonplace, but I wasn't aware of there being matching fashion shorts to go along with them. Maybe there's a shift to yellow homes here? Or are the Nugg going to set the dangerous precedent of 4 uniforms (5 with a throwback?) ShinyHubCaps
EDIT: I thought I found other false alternates on the NBA site (Stylin' Shorts), but then I stumbled across these as well. Now I can't confirm or deny these, but they sell for $110 on the NBA.com store. chakfu
Yellow or gold would be a much more appropriate alternate than dark blue, for the "Nuggets."(As they would for the Cavaliers, for less literal reasons)
totc
I hope they don't pull a 1992-93 Virginia Commonwealth and wear blue jerseys and yellow shorts. That would be uglification without representation.
ShinyHubCaps
I haven't seen mismatched uniforms since the 1953 Chicago Stags (or at least when the Bulls wore them this past year). But it seems unlikely that Denver would have a new uniform. Maybe they wore the other ones out, they used them so much this postseason.
Tazz013
It looks like the logos on the Mavericks alt shorts will be larger next year.http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000FSCS..._V52392674_.jpgThe waistband wordmark on the Suns alt shorts will be smaller.http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B00011QV...SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpgThe Lakers are adding more gold striping and reducing the white outline on the logo of their alt shorts.http://a712.g.akamai.net/7/712/225/1d/www..../09196143_z.jpgThe Clippers are either making the logo on their alt shorts larger or just moving it closer to the white, along with enlarging and moving the NBA logo.http://a712.g.akamai.net/7/712/225/1d/www..../09196134_z.jpgThe Bulls are moving their logo closer to the stripes on their alternate.http://a712.g.akamai.net/7/712/225/1d/www..../09196044_z.jpgThe Pistons' "P" is closer to the side panels, too. projectjohn
Given that eastbay has changed the image back to the navy color, I would say you had stumbled upon a coming attraction.
Eye
I know it's not much of a difference, but that extra gold stripe makes the Lakers' shorts look better.
adamcz
Given that eastbay has changed the image back to the navy color, I would say you had stumbled upon a coming attraction. Probably. I heard from a guy who works there that they have pictures of all the new jerseys, but can't comment on them yet Can one of you please get a job there for a few days and leak us the jerseys? WSU151
The Lakers are adding more gold striping and reducing the white outline on the logo of their alt shorts.http://a712.g.akamai.net/7/712/225/1d/www..../09196143_z.jpg The white outline is still around the Lakers' alt logo on those shorts. The picture you posted is nothing new. Plus, in all your pics, the Reebok logo is still on those shorts - the vector won't be there next year. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.
MrAsterisk
The order page for the navy Nuggets shorts on Eastbay has been changed to picture the correct alternate shorts, but the thumbnail link still has the gold version:Expect this to change soon too, but the thumbnail can be seen "in action" near the bottom of this page. WSU151
I know it's not much of a difference, but that extra gold stripe makes the Lakers' shorts look better. It's been on the shorts for a while. Tazz013
When I said "more gold striping" I meant making it thicker. From what I saw in photos from this past season is was only about half as thick as it is in that picture.I also said reducing the white outline, not eliminating it. Look at the photo you posted, it's a lot thicker. Save the slugalo.
